 "D" Co sent one platoon out 180830 to cross HIMAGAAN RIVER and recco vicinity (15.5^.-21.5).

 Arty. concentration was placed in BAGO area fro, 181100I to 181145I.

 E Co patrol reached point approx 6 mi SE DIANAY BRIDGE (off map). Nil enemy activity. Patrol split into two groups on returning and checked area S & SE DIANAY BRIDGE for 3rd time in three days. Nil enemy activity.

 At 180800I It Ward with one platoon plus one LMG sec plus one 60mm squad left CP mission patrol area between HIMUGAAN RIVER and river running NE through grid square (15.0-21.0). Patrol searched river bank approx 1k mi up and down river, failed to find crossing. Patrol returned Co CP at 181600 hr.

 At 180730I Lt. Whiting with one platoon left Co CP with mission patrol MALAPASOC and vicinity. Patrol found nine (9) Jap bodies four enemy bayonets in vicinity (16.2-20.2). Enemy dead were covered with leaves believes were wounded in fight 16 July "45. Patrol reached point 1 mi SW MALAPASOC across HIMUGAAN RIVER. Nil enemy activity. Lt Clements with one platoon left Co CP mission to patrol rail spur to EAST from Bugang patroled area and returned 181630I. Nil enemy activity.

 The pass word for 181800I to 190800I is LITTLE-LADY."

"The 2nd plt under Lt. Ward left the perimeter at 0930 to reconnoiter the area west of Bugan.                                 Swift water and steep banks prevented the patrol from crossing the Himaagon River. The patrol returned at 1500 having contacted no enemy.

"7-18-45 Local patrols, nil activity.

"Third platoon left company CP at 0800 hr. to recto the Malapasoc & area beyond. Found evidence of enemy but no enemy soldiers. Second platoon left CP at 0800 to relieve the third platoon & reached Malapasoco'but found no evidence of enemy activity. Returned to CP at 1700 hr."

There is some mix up here on platoon missions and an extra 'o' is added to Malapasoc.
